MOTION SICKNESS OF TIME TRAVEL
Three of the four March releases from Rachel Evans’ Motion Sickness Of Time Travel project are now available for name-your-price download on her Bandcamp.
A Disembodied Voice In The Darkness was an edition of 47 cassettes on Teosinte.
100 tapes of Slow Architecture (a split with husband Grant’s Nova Scotian Arms) were put out by Sweat Lodge Guru, the label affiliated with the excellent record blog OMG Vinyl.
Sistrum was a 3” CDR of just 24 copies self-released by Rachel.
The fourth, a split cassette with Mass Ornament in an run of 100 on Grant & Rachel’s Hooker Vision label, is forthcoming on Bandcamp.
If you’re quick, you can still score a copy of the white vinyl re-press of the Seeping Through the Veil of the Unconscious LP from Boomkat. Destined for best-of-2011 lists come the years end, I can’t recommend this album enough.
